Resources for Workshop Leaders and Technology Trainers

We want to support the people who train teachers in the use of technology. If you are doing a workshop which covers the subject of email, we would like to help.

Test Accounts

We can create a test group on Gaggle for your workshop. Under your direction, teachers can set up sample accounts and play around with the Gaggle system.

Teacher's can create sample student accounts. They can customize the Blocked Word List, send test messages with inappropriate content, review sample student accounts etc.

Afterwards, the teacher can keep the account on a permanent basis. We can also turn each teacher account into a School Master for their own group on Gaggle. Please contact us if you would like to arrange this.

Workshop Materials

We have several items that you can download, print and distribute at your workshop. Your participants can walk away with specific hard copy information on Gaggle as well as step by step instructions.

These are the resources we reccommend:

1. The Gaggle Information Flyer explains all about the system from a marketing perspective. Teacher's can take this back to their principal or school board to answer questions.
2. The Quick Start Guide is a four page document that explains how to use the Gaggle mail system. It also explains how a teacher would use the system to monitor and control student messages.
3. You can also download the complete Administrator's Guide..
4. If you are presenting to a group of 30 or more educators, please let us know and we'll send you a Gaggle t-shirt to use as a raffle item.
