BackgroundPlease read the following agreement carefully. This document explains your rights and obligations as a user of GaggleTN.com. While GaggleTN.com provides an exciting opportunity to expand the learning environment, our goal is to protect our users from inappropriate materials and content received and sent via e-mail. The internet and e-mail world is changing rapidly. For these reasons it may be necessary to update or revise parts of this agreement or features of the GaggleTN.com service. If GaggleTN.com makes changes we will provide you with 30 days notice. General Policy and Guidelines:When you sign up for GaggleTN.com service, you will become a "District Master," "School Administrator,", "Teacher User", or "Student User" of GaggleTN.com. As a "Dirstrict Master" or "School Administrator" you accept responsibility to issue accounts to only those individuals who are students, teachers, or verified employees of your school/district. Although an industrious user may discover ways to send or receive inappropriate information that has yet to be identified by GaggleTN.com, your student's access to and the use of Gaggle TN.com shall for this reason be under a teacher's direction and monitored as a regular instructional activity. Guideline I: Unacceptable uses of GaggleTN.com e-mail include:
Guideline II: Account users shall be responsible for unauthorized access made through their user name and password. For this reason GaggleTN.com recommends that users change their passwords periodically. Guideline III: GaggleTN.com uses a variety of measures to protect the security and privacy of its users (please refer to the privacy statement for further details). Users should be aware, however, that Gaggle.net and ENA cannot guarantee security and confidentiality. GaggleTN.net and ENA accepts no responsibility for harm caused directly or indirectly by its use. Users should also be aware that the use of GaggleTN.com e-mail is not private. While neither ENA nor Gaggle.net routinely monitor message content, it may be necessary to backup or review messages to identify network problems or if a user has violated this policy. ENA or Gaggle.net, at their discretion, may choose to turn over or make available message content to appropriate personnel or law enforcement agencies if required. Guideline IV: Message Storage and Other Limitations There are specific limits to the amount of e-mail storage space per user. Neither ENA nor Gaggle.net is responsible or liable for the deletion of messages or other information. Guideline V: Warranty GaggleTN.com users agree that the use of GaggleTN.com e-mail is the sole risk of the user. Neither ENA nor Gaggle.net guarantees that members will be able to access or use the GaggleTN.com system at all times or from all geographic locations. Guideline VI: Indemnification You agree to hold ENA and Gaggle.net and all of their respective employees and affiliates harmless from any damage or claim arising from your use of this service. Guideline VII: Termination and Cancellation To cancel or otherwise terminate your GaggleTN.com accounts, please contact your Account Services Manager. |
